The Fowler Center takes pride in the caliber of our staff members. These individuals selflessly serve our treasured campers and are the reason we have so many repeat guests!
Working at The Fowler Center is a lot of hard work … it’s also a lot of fun. It requires a unique individual who has an understanding of the special needs population and the flexibility and willingness to provide campers with choices to make their camping experience enjoyable. Our staff participates in pre-camp training this is a top priority. The reason, of course, is to assure that each camper receives adequate programming, maintains a healthy record and enjoys a satisfying, happy camping experience.
Our staff is available 24/7 to serve our campers. We want our campers to enjoy the security and comfort in knowing that counselors sleep in the same cabin as they do. Counselors are available around the clock to monitor and comfort special needs.
Additionally there is a regular rotation of night staff during our summer sessions who are awake and do hourly rounds and bed checks for the safety and security of each camper.
