Travel Adventures
Join The Fowler Center for weekend or week-long trips of friends, fun, and travel as we venture to various destinations in the USA. Trips vary year to year and include destinations boasting city life, like Chicago, or the Great Outdoors, like a UP Fall Color Tour.  If you have questions about the upcoming trips or the Travel Adventure Program please call and speak with Program Supervisor, Julius Freeland at 989-673-2050  ext 117 or email  programs@thefowlercenter.org. Space is limited for each trip so don't delay! Trips are first come, first serve and have limited spots available for those who use wheelchairs due to transportation and the nature of the trip.

PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY:  Those who wish to attend travel adventures should be successful in a 1:3 staff to camper ratio, able to follow staff directions to remain with group in community, and not have any aggressive behaviors that would pose a risk to themselves or others. Campers must be willing to participate and stay with group during meals, entertainment, etc. Modes of transportation vary for each trip. See trip descriptions. Campers who are new to The Fowler Center may need to meet with Administrative staff before confirmation of trip in order to assure proper placement.
