The Fowler Center has a core administrative team that runs the camp and supports our campers daily on a year round basis. This team includes a variety of individuals who have knowledge and experience in providing programs and services for children and adults with special needs.

Kyle became Executive Director of The Fowler Center in 2009. Her past experience includes many years at The Children's Home of Detroit and also time with the Foundation for Exceptional Children. Kyle is the recipient of The ARC of Oakland County's 2017 Distinguished Service Dove Award.

 Swimming, hangin' in my mock (hammock that is!), XC skiing at sunset.....there are too many to choose!

Lynn started at The Fowler Center by volunteering for a respite weekend in September 2004. Over the next 2 years she worked at camp as a weekend respite counselor, the 2005 Outpost Coordinator, and 2006 Program Coordinator. After graduating in May 2007 from Central Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation she started working full time as Assistant Director.

Julius went to Northern Michigan University where he graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Outdoor Recreation Leadership and Management. Since 2012 Julius has been gaining camp experience with the YMCA and is now excited to bring his skills and new ideas to The Fowler Center.

Favorite Camp Activity (other than Horseback Riding of course!): High Ropes

With lots of previous camp and riding experience Mary loves teaching everyone at camp how to be comfortable on a horse. Mary is certified as an instructor through CHA - Certified Horsemanship Association.

Favorite Camp Activity: Riding Horses

Amy is in her final days of education at Central Michigan University. After her internship at The Fowler Center Amy will be graduated and able to sit for her NCTRC (National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification) exam to become a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). Amy is looking forward to learning "behind the scenes" work at camp as our Fall season involves a lot of preparation for the next summer while continuing to run current programs.
